G.P. Vanier "dugout dunk"


The Georges P. Vanier Band Parents Associations formally announced the launch of its dugout dunk fundraiser earlier this month. In the photo are band parents Yvon Aubin, Norm and Rita Boulet and Gerry Benoit with his son, band student Jesse Benoit. Proceeds from the fundraiser are being allocated towards the cost of a trip by the senior band to Austria in March of 2013. For more information please see Page 6 of this week's Express.



Bounty on wolves considered by M. D. council

A bounty on wolves in the Municipal District of Smoky River may be introduced by council to help farmers save their livestock from being killed and threatened by the wild animals.
