Staying alive!


The North Peace Hockey League's Lakeland Eagles avoided elimination in their best-of-seven NPHL East Division final series Feb. 28 by posting a 3-1 victory over the Falher Pirates. Craig Anderson's goal at 19:47 of the second period was the game winner for the Eagles, which trailed the series 3-1 heading into another must win in Game 5 at Falher March 2. See Page 9 for full coverage.
