The North Peace Hockey League's defending Campbell Cup champions, the Falher Pirates, are hanging up their skates for the season after bowing out to the Lakeland Eagles in their best-of-seven NPHL East Division final. The Eagles, which at one point trailed the series by 3-0, stormed back to take the last four games, including a 6-3 Game 7 win in Falher on March 7 to clinch a berth in the final. The Eagles now move on to play the Spirit River Rangers for the Campbell Cup. See Page 9 of this week's Express for additional coverage of the Eagles/Pirates series.
