Commentary: Much, much more than beauty
Many of us enjoy watching the odd tear-jerker, although most men would dare not admit it. Good stories are like a breath of fresh air in today’s media, which seems to capitalize on human nature’s need to watch and read about others’ suffering. Don Henley’s “bubble-headed bleach blonde” can indeed tell about “the plane crash with a gleam in her eye” in Dirty Laundry.
