Several Peace Country families living within Baytex Energy Limited's Reno field area have filed a court injunction through their lawyer with Alberta's Court of Queen's Bench. The intent of the court injunction is to prevent Baytex from operating its 86 open-vented bitumen storage tanks until the company designs and constructs properly sealed tanks which address emissions.

Families forced from homes file court injunction
