Some great lessons for Francophone families

The CAFE Nord-Ouest family fair was held in Falher April 10-12. Two workshops were held at the Chevaliers Centre on the evening of April 10 to start it off. In the photo above, Lise Cote, left, and Sarah Nickonchuk make nutritious wraps in the kitchen. Nickonchuk, from Peace River, was invited to discuss meal planning, nutrition and how to minimize waste. There were other activities held as part of the family fair, including a magic show, two family theatre performances at École Routhier, a book sale and the Family Challenge (inspired by 'The Amazing Race'). More stories and photos about the family fair will be featured in next week's Express.

AER panel recommends a four-month period for Baytex to clean up operations in area
