Baytex Energy Ltd. will have until Aug. 15, 2014 to capture produced tank-top gases from all of its existing heavy oil operating facilities in the Peace region.The time frame coincided with an April 15th announcement pertaining to several new AER regulatory changes which directly impact the oil and gas sector.



Baytex supports AER regulatory changes

It didnít take long for the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) to place its stamp of approval on recommendations by an internal panel to give Baytex Energy Ltd. a four-month window of opportunity to capture tank-top emissions from its oil production facilities situated in the Peace region.
