Getting a feeling for the area through its culture and products


Pictured above, from left, are Hector Goudreau, the Progressive-Conservative MLA for Dunvegan-Central Peace-Notley; Francoise Lavoie, a local ACFA board member; Heather Klimchuk, the minister of culture and Progressive-Conservative MLA for Edmonton-Glenora; and Joel Lavoie, the president of the local ACFA organization. Klimchuk was in the area last week for a tour, including the Honey Bunny honey factory in Guy. She also met with elected officials to hear their concerns about things like MSI funding.

Highway 744 near Judah Hill expected to be closed for repairs in mid-August
