To the Editor:
It was a great pleasure for us as South African’s, to spend the last few years in this wonderful part of Canada, and we cannot leave without saying thank you.
To Dr. Pieter de Wet and his wife Cato; thank-you for your support, love and kindness.
To Dr. Sandra De Souza; thank-you for your professional help and advice. To the rest of the staff at our clinic in McLennan; thank-you for your hard work and all the fun we had.
A special thanks to everyone working at the Sacred Heart Health Care Centre in McLennan. It was a privilege to be part of your team.
I wish to thank hospital management and staff for the job you are doing. Thanks as well to everyone working in the laboratory, pharmacy, EMT, medical records, kitchen, house cleaning, and maintenance, for all your dedication and important work to keep our hospital going.
To the ward clerks of the hospital; thank-you for making my job easier. To all the staff in the nursing home, public health and home care; thanks for the amazing work you do for our patients.
To the X-Ray department; thank-you for all the “coffee breaks,” and of course your help and kindness.
To all the nursing staff in acute care and OPD, thanks for your dedicated work, excellent patient care, professional help, love and kindness, laughing and sense of humour. Each of you is special to me in your own way!
I want to thank all my patients...old and young, the “really ill” and “not so ill,” for your tremendous support.
To all our friends; thank-you for helping us get settle in Canada. You were our “family” over here!
To our church family; thanks for your love, support and guidance.

A special word of thanks to the staff at Little Smoky Ski Hill, Smoky River Play School, and Bank of Montreal, for your involvement in our life.
To someone very important and special, my receptionist, Yvette Houle; thank-you for your excellent service, help and support. You were the “spine” of my office. It was great to have you in my team!
