SCORE (Supporting Community-Orienting Recreation Efforts). the fundraising group of Falher Regional Recreation Complex would like to thank all those who volunteered their time and equipment to help produce crops on the S.C.O.R.E Farm. Special thanks to everyone who volunteered and donated supplies and equipment and time and service Special thanks to those that phoned and offered time and equipment with out being asked. Thanks to: -Roger Gosselin, Frank Boulet and Pierre Boulet for donating spraying. -Blanchette Farms providing fertilizer application, operated by Eric Blanchette and Albert Blanchette. -Brett Young seeds for providing 135 acres of 4414rr hybrid that surprised us with its yield. Farm Pure Seeds for donating 40acres worth of 6802rr synthetic hybrid. -Monsanto for providing no charge TUAs and the Weather Max for spraying with Rob Milligen’s support. Harvest was completed by Gilles Roy who provided a combine, Super B truck and storage. Twilight Colony provided four combines and a Super B Truck operated by Ben Entz, Ed Entz, Simson Entz, Joe Entz and Amos Wipf. -Gilles Menke of G. Menke & Sons Farm. -Kevin Sliger from Houlder Farm Supply brought combines. Seven combines helped make efficient harvesting The seven combines made short efficient work of the harvest. Customer work was provided by Gabby Gagnon for seeding and Gordon Stieb for swathing. Parkland Fertilizers, Agri Pro, EFD Ventures and Viterra all provided part of fertilizer at no cost. Thanks again to all involved in another successful S.C.O.R.E. committee fundraiser.
