H.W. Fish Arena in McLennan was transformed into a temporary curling rink last week in preparation for the McLennan Curling Club’s cash bonspiel fundraiser April 11 to 13. Laying down the new vinyl curling sheets (from left) is Rod McArthur, curling club vice-president Barry Whelen, Gilbert Demeule, Greg Clemens and Hack-To-Hack Solutions Inc. owner Kevin Grumetza. Sixteen teams participated in the fundraising event, which will see proceeds earmarked for the community’s new $3 million curling rink.
