Grade 11 students were; Mathieu Cloutier, Mathieu Doran, and Darren Stenhouse. New additions to the team were Joel Aubin and Matthew Mader. “The success of this team was built on strong cohesion and strong leadership from the senior players,” says Lessard. “I am most proud of this team for their hard work, dedication and sportsmanlike attitudes.” Of many of the teams accomplishments, a few stand out for Lessard. She says there were triumphant moments when the team placed 2nd in High Prairie, and when the team just fell short of victory at zones where they lost in their semi final game. “I’ve had countless remarks from other coaches, refs and parents saying what a kind and considerate team they are,” says Lessard. “It’s great that the boys are being recognized for all of their hard work they’ve shown this year.”
