Ducks Unlimited fundraising manager and district chair Murray Hampshire from Grande Prairie was at the Smoky River Ducks Unlimited auction/dinner Oct. 18 at the Elks Hall in McLennan. The event raised almost $18,000 for Ducks Unlimited. Proceeds are used for wetlands habitat preservation.
