"Lakeland Eagles pick up big win" North Peace Hockey League rivals Lakeland and Valleyview clashed at H.W. Fish Arena in McLennan last Thursday. The game saw the Eagles soar to a lopsided 12-3 victory over the Jets after building up a commanding 7-1 lead in the opening 20 minutes of play. See Page 9 for complete coverage of the game. Lakeland’s next home game is scheduled for Jan. 29 when the team hosts the Peace River Stampeders.
