SARDA trade show successful March 19 – 21
SARDA trade show brought in exhibits from across North
America. Some of these booths included the Municipal District of Smoky River (top). MD
councillor Richard Aubin, Agricultural Fieldman Normand Boulet and 4H Club member Jessica
Farrell. The exhibits also included Stephane and Alain Turcotte from Goodon Industries Ltd.
Bottom right: Hey Romeo wowed a crowd of approximately 300 people during their Friday night
concert. Lead singer Stacie Roper sang a variety of music including country rock, rock and
roll, and original music written by the band. Hey Romeo is proclaimed to be one of Canada’s
busiest touring bands. The country trio released its debut single “Wrap These Around You” in
2005, and has since played over 700 shows throughout Canada since 2002.
