Alex Mahe visits Routhier School
Alex Mahe visited Ecole Routhier School on April 9.
Mahe is a teacher of young children who has had his own children's television show
and now has four children's CD's to his credit. He has garnered three nominations
for Outstanding Children's Recording by ARIA and the Western Canadian Music Awards
and is currently working on his fifth CD. Alex's talent and enthusiasm has captivated
audiences from Montana, Inuvik, Vancouver Island, Ontario to Quebec. Mahe was raised
on a farm in northeastern Alberta along with his nine brothers and sisters.

Karen Lee Backs of École Providence School in McLennan, Alberta, has been chosen as Holy Family Catholic Regional Division No. 37’s nominee for the Alberta School Boards Association Edwin Parr Award. This award is for successful first year K – 12 teachers.
