Twilight Figure Skating Club last two competitions of year

Two end of the year competitions were held in March for the Twilight Figure Skating Club.

The first, Peace Region Skating Competition, was held in Grande Prairie the weekend of March 20 – 22.

Shara Minarovich finished fourth in Senior Bronze Freeskate and sixth in Junior Bronze Interpretive.

Kaitlin Minarovich finished first in Introductory Freeskate, first in Elements, seventh in Introductory Interpretive, and third in the team event along with Tiana Aubin, Chelsea Doran, and Josee Bouchard.

Shaylee Minarovich finished fourth in Primary Freeskate and sixth in Elements.

Tiana Aubin had a fifth place finish in Primary Events and second place in Primary Freeskate.

Chelsea Doran finished sixth in both Primary Elements and Primary Freeskate.

Celina Bouchard was first in Introductory Elements and second in Introductory Freeskate.

Josee Bouchard finished fourth in Primary Freeskate and fourth in Primary Elements.

The girls also competed on the weekend of March 13 – 15, where many of the skaters were very pleased with their results.

The Totem Invitational was held in Dawson Creek.

Janelle Laverdiere completed her first competition at the invitational. She managed to finish an incredible sixth place in the Canskate Ladies.

Chelsea Doran finished first in Showcase, fourth in Pre-Primary Elements, and fifth in Pre-Primary Freeskate.

Tiana Aubin finished second in Showcase, fifth in Pre-Primary Elements, and fifth in Pre-Primary Freeskate.

Josee Bouchard placed fourth in Primary Elements, third in Primary Showcase and fifth in Primary Freeskate.

Celina Bouchard finished first in Introductory Elements and second in Introductory Freeskate.

Registration for the 2009 – 2010 skating season will be held this September.
