Routhier track and field June 9 and 10
Ecole Routhier School held their annual track and
field days on June 9 and 10. The first day was the Grades 1 – 3, with nine events
to compete in. The second day, on June 10, was focused on the Grades 4 – 6 classes.
The older classes completed 11 events. Events included frisbee throw, javelin, high
jump, sand pit events, hurtles and different races. Each day featured 10 groups that
were rotated through every event. More pictures will be featured in next week’s Express.
CN Rail cancels service to Girouxville
CN has announced it is closing the rail line to Girouxville.
