Health Care Aide graduation ceremony at Manoir du Lac
A pinning ceremony was held for graduates of the Norquest College Health Care Aide course in
McLennan at the Manoir du Lac on Sept. 15. Pictured is Ashley Federko (left) who graduated
with honors from the program. She is pictured with Holly Desaulniers who was the instructor
of the program. Manoir du Lac Integrated Life Care Operator Gene Zinyk says the college
certificate is now required for individuals to act as Health Care Aides. Seven women graduated
from the program which took a total of eight months to complete.

Falher leaves regional economic development board
The hot topic at last night’s regional meeting of the five local municipalities was Falher’s
withdrawal from the regional economic development board.
