New restaurant now open at Guy-Donnelly Sportex

A new restaurant has been opened in Donnelly at the Guy-Donnelly Sportex.
Anchalee’s Cuisine, also known as Ying’s Thai Cuisine, opened on Nov. 23 and manager Ying Gauthier hopes people will come out to try thai recipes.
“This is something I really wanted to do,” says Ying. “I really like cooking. I think it’s nice to go out for a special meal. I just want people to be happy.”
Ying says many of the recipes use the Thai spices and influence she learned as a child.
She explains that everything on the menu is home-made, including all her spring rolls and Thai dishes.
She stresses the fact that she only uses fresh meat and no pressed patties in her restaurant. She says she makes fresh burger patties each day, and only utilizes chicken breast and other fresh meat.
“Everything on the menu is my recipe,” says Ying. “I make home-made soup each day and will have home-made buns available twice each week.”
Ying says she will make all the food directly to your liking. She says some people like very spicy food, while others like mild tastes.
She explains there are a number of appetizer dishes available, including chicken wings, spring rolls, deep fried wonton and ribs, which all are hand-made.
There is an debit machine on the premises, so all Visa, Mastercard, Debit Card and American Express will be accepted.
“The prices are reasonable and we have a wide range of food and drinks available for purchase,” says Ying.
Restaurant hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
She explains she will also be open during hockey tournaments and other events held at the Sportex.

She explains she will also be doing some catering for small businesses and smaller events.
