École Routhier School’s English Christmas concert
 Mme. Gaudet’s ECS class

Mme. Gaudet’s ECS class from Routhier performed Happy Christmas at their concert on Dec. 15.

Mrs. Dana Wood Boissonneault’s Grade 1 DWB class

Mrs. Dana Wood Boissonneault’s Grade 1 DWB class performed Guess What We Are Doing? (Filipino Christmas Guessing Game)

Grade 1AK

Grade 1AK sang I Love My Slippers. Approximately 300 parents were at the concert.

The Grade 2 English class

The Grade 2 English class sang It’s A Marshmallow World. Parents and teachers alike were impressed by the musical styling from ECS all the way to Grade 6.

Grade 5 English

Grade 5 English sang Five More Days Til Christmas and Sleigh Ride.

Grade 3 class sang Christmas Cookies

Grade 3 class sang Christmas Cookies. The Grades 3 and 6 classes also performed Hippo for Christmas together.

Grade 4 performed Jingle Bells

Grade 4 performed Jingle Bells with a variety of instruments

The Grade 6 class

The Grade 6 class performs Christmas Shoes.

The entire school, English classes ECS to Grade 6

The entire school, English classes ECS to Grade 6, performed Alive in the Hive?, a song written by the school to closely depict living in the Smoky River Region and going to school at École Routhier School. They also performed We Wish You a Merry Christmas. The entire concert lasted approximately 2 hours, but the crowd was left with nothing but smiles after the effort displayed by the children from the school.

Grade one French class

Grade one French class sang “Je vous souhaite un joyeux Noël” and “Fa la la la.”

 Grade 5 French

Grade 5 French performed “Où t’en vas-tu donc si vite?”

 The Grade 6 French class

The Grade 6 French class performed “L’alphabet des cadeaux de Noël”

Grade 2 French

Grade 2 French performed “Au royaume de Bonhomme Hiver”, which also featured the child in the picture to the right who acted as a Snowman.

The Grade 5 French class

The Grade 5 French class stole the show with a rendition of “Rock and Roll du Père Noël”. The class Santa Claus strummed guitar, played saxophone, the drums, harmonica, and danced his way across the stage. Each class put on a great show for their parents and spectators on Dec. 16, which was well received at the end of the 12 performances.

Part of the Grade 2 French routine involved a snowman for their rendition of “Au royaume de Bonhomme Hiver”. The concert this year featured grades 1 through 6 joining forces to sing “Alive in the Hive”, and “Pour le nouvel an”.

École Héritage’s Christmas concert held Dec. 17

École Héritage a tenu leur concert annuel de Noël le 17 décembre à 13h30 à l'école dans Falher. Le concert a présenté des classes du jardin d'enfants pour classer 12 et était une joie pour tous qui a été présent.
 La bande d’École Heritage a exécuté trois inclusion de chansons

La bande d’École Heritage a exécuté trois inclusion de chansons. Beaucoup d'autres performances wowed le crowed tout au long de l'après-midi avec les sketches satiriques, les chansons et les vidéos.

École Providence School’s Christmas concert

Ecole Providence held their Christmas concert on Dec. 16.
Junior High classes

The Junior High classes put on a play called Angels on Assignment.

Grades 4 and 5

Grades 4 and 5 performed “C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S” and “When a Child is Born”

The Junior High students put together a Christmas musical.

The Grades 2 and 3 held a silent auction

The Grades 2 and 3 held a silent auction for their Gingerbread sleighs, with proceeds all going towards their field trip. The Express would like to extend gratitude to Marie-Anne Jones and Faye Welch who donated their time to take pictures of the event, thank you very much.
