OBIT ~ Yvette Blanche Albinat, 1929-2011

Yvette Blanche Albinati, resident of Falher, AB, passed away in McLennan on July 30, 2011 at the age of 82.
Yvette was born in Falher on May 13, 1929 and is the daughter of Roland and Aline Giroux.
She married Andre Albinati in 1947 and stayed happily married until Andre’s death in 2009.
Yvette contracted polio in 1951 and was hospitalized in Edmonton. Through sheer will, she was able to return home and learn to walk once again.
Andre and Yvette moved to their farm near Girouxville in July of 1963. They also celebrated the arrival of their daughter Linda, that same year.
The Albinati family moved to British Columbia for a brief period in the ‘80s only to return home in 1990 where they settled on a acreage near Falher.
Yvette will be fondly remembered as a loving and caring person. She was always willing to help without any reservation. She never complained about life’s challenges and loved to tell jokes through her truly unique sense of humour.
In her later years, Yvette resided at Villa Beausejour in Falher.
Yvette was predeceased by her husband Andre, mother Aline Giroux, father Roland Giroux, brother Paule Emile as well as her sisters Rollande, Evelyne and Rita.
She is survived by her daughter Linda, brothers Raymond and Denis as well as sisters Noella and Dora.
Yvette will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
Funeral services for Yvette Blanche Albinati were held Aug. 5, 2011 in Falher.
