Donald Guy Bonnamour, long-time resident of Girouxville, Alberta, passed away on February 2, 2011 in McLennan at the age of 40 years.

Donald was born on September 3, 1970 at Sacred Heart Community Health Care Centre and was a proud oil patch worker and well site supervisor for 22 years.

Donald showed great pride and excelled in the oilpatch field. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, quading and snowmobiling.

Most of all, he loved his family and friends very much, and always took that extra time to spend with them.

Donald was predeceased by brother-in-law, Eugene Labrecque.

Donald is survived by his fiancee, Monique Girod, his son, Rene Girod, and stepson, Michael Aubin, parents, Guy and Madeline Bonnamour, sister, Doreen Labrecque, brothers, Paul Bonnamour and Bryan Bonnamour (Julie Dumont), nephew, Ryan Labrecque and neice, Stephanie Doyle (Nick Doyle) with their daughters, Mia, Alexa and Brooklyn.

Funeral services for the late Donald Guy Bonnamour were held February 8, 2011 from Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with Father Maurice Marion officiating.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Chapel of Memories Funeral Home.
