Adam Deines (November 6, 1921 – September 19, 2011)

Adam Deines passed away quietly Sept. 19, 2011 at Sacred Heart Hospital in McLennan, at 89 years of age.

He was born in Cardston, Alberta on Nov. 6, 1921.

Retired in 1978

His family moved to Calgary where he grew up, married and raised his family until his retirement in 1978.

Adam spent the rest of his life in the Reno area with his beloved wife, family and many dear friends in the surrounding community.

He is survived by his long-time wife and partner of 62 years, Lorraine and his children: son, Bob (Wendi) Deines, son, Don (Lora) Deines, daughter, Dianne Dunfield and son Glenn (Pat) Deines.

He also leaves his grandchildren Eric and Nicole Deines (and their children Skyler, Ronin, Phoenix and Haydn), Aaron and Christina Ignacio-Deines, Brenna Deines, Melinda Franco- Deines and Edgar Franco (and their Children Riel and Santiago), Michelle Deines and John Murphy, Rachel Deines, Nigel Dunfield and Eva Kuzyk, Darren Dunfield and Andi Major, Amanda Deines, Graham Deines and Elaine Deines.

Adam is predeceased by his siblings John Betty, Emma, Florence, Henry and Lorraine, as well as a twin brother Emanuel, and a sister Evangeline who died in infancy.

His only remaining sister is 96 years old

His only remaining sister is Florence Campbell, who is 96 years old.

Florence and her daughters Linda (David) Peyto and Paddy Campbell will mourn his passing.
