Louise Ann Deslauriers, longtime resident of Girouxville, Alberta, passed away on July 22, 2011 in McLennan at 75 years of age.

Louise was born May 25, 1936 in Sturgeon Lake, Alberta.

She is predeceased by her husband Gerard Deslauriers, mother Emmilien Payou and father Patrick Payou, siblings Pauline Payou, Theresa Payou, Abraham Payou, Rufus Payou and Gordon Payou.

She is survived by sons Bert Deslauriers,Charlie Deslauriers, Ernie Deslauriers, daughter Patricia Mithell sister Victoria Payou and brothers Leo Payou and Pete Payou; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral servcies held July 18 in McLennan

Funeral services for the late Louise Ann Deslauriers were held July 28 from the St. John the Baptist Cathedral in McLennan with Joseph Jacobson officiating.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Chapel of Memories Funeral Homes in Peace River.
