Guy Cloutier, 1966 - 2007
Guy Germain Cloutier, passed away November 8, 2007, in a tragic motor vehicle crash.
Born on May 24, 1966 in McLennan, Alberta, Guy grew up and lived most of his working life in Grande Prairie.
He moved to Fort McMurray in December 2006 to work at Suncor as a journeyman electrician.
Guy was devoted,
selfless, committed, and very dear and wonderful
He was a devoted son, a selfless brother, a committed father, and to all, a very dear and wonderful friend.
Guy was an important part of the lives of his mother, siblings, and their families.
Guy was a giant and became patriarch
of the family
Although the “baby” of the family, Guy was a giant among us, and in many ways, became the patriarch of the family.
He was a dedicated father to his son Lee Cloutier, providing a solid foundation and maintaining a close and loving relationship.
Surviving are his son, Lee Cloutier and Lee’s mother Brenda Schenk of Grande Prairie, AB; mother, Antoinette Cloutier and siblings, Claire Cloutier(Richard), and Lucille Cloutier of Edmonton, AB; Laurette Teulon (Todd) of Laguna Vista, Texas; Noella Dawson (Duane) and Julien Cloutier (Gwen) of Grande Prairie, AB; and many, many nieces and nephews.
Guy was predeceased by his father, Pierre Cloutier.
Prayer service was held at Oliver’s Grande Prairie Funeral Chapel on Thursday, November 15.

To the world he was one,
but to us he was the world.
