Leisa Cote, 1972 - 2007

Leisa Selene Cote, longtime resident of Grande Prairie, passed away in Grande Prairie on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at 35 years of age. Leisa was born March 3, 1972 in Fairview, Alberta. She was a friend to everyone who was part of her life. She touched the lives of many people. Leisa’s passing will be a terrible loss to all. She will be sadly missed by her sons Kyle and Foster and their father Richard Cote; her father Dave Coristine (Marie); mother Monique Olson (Gary); sister Vanessa (John) Bjorklund and nephews Paycen and Garin; sister Danette (Shea) Roth and niece Teagan; Lance Clough (Nicole); grandmother Kathleen Coristine; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is predeceased by her daughter Sydney in 2992, paternal grandfather Ralph Coristine; maternal grandparents Adrien and Annette Gamache. Visitation and prayers were held at Oliver’s Funeral Chapel in Grande Prairie on Thursday, Nov. 8. Memorial service was held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Friday, Nov. 9. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital, Glen Rose Hospital, Kids of Cancer, or the S.I.D.S. Foundation.
