Linda Garand, ?-2008

Linda Marie Reaume-Garand, daughter of Fred Reaume and Helen M. Beattie, passed away on March 1, 2008, at the tender age of 46 yrs in Grande Prairie, AB. Linda was born in Peace River, AB, where she was raised and attended school there. After graduation she met and married Gerry Garand of Falher, where they raised two children; Crystal and Trevor. In 2003 Linda moved to Grande Prairie where she resided until her death. Linda is predeceased by her mother, Helen M. Beattie, her grandparents, several aunts and uncles. She leaves to mourn her father, Fred (Jean) Reaume, of Spirit River, AB, step-father, Emerson Beattie of Grande Prairie, AB, daughter, Crystal (Paul) Allen, grandson, Joshua of Kamloops, B.C., her son, Trevor of Revelstoke, B.C., sister, Joanne Summers of Edmonton, AB, brothers, Shane (Vera) Reaume of Paddle Prairie, AB, and Marty Reaume of Grande Prairie, AB, nieces and nephews, numerous aunts and uncles, and dear friends. Linda was very talented. She was an excellent homemaker who loved to cross-stich (which was her passion). She also loved to sew and do crafts, sing and dance. She had a heart of gold, and was very generous and affectionate to all who came and visit her. Linda will be sadly missed by all who dearly loved her, including family and friends. A memorial celebration of life will be held on May 4 at the Church of Christ in Grande Prairie, AB. Her ashes will be buried at a later date.
