Paul Gaucher, 1919 - 2007
Paul Gaucher, longtime resident of Donnelly, passed away October 6, 2007 in McLennan at 87 years of age.
Paul was born October 25, 1919 in Manitoba.
Paul is predeceased by his parents – father Alfred and mother Atalas Gaucher; four brothers Arthur Gaucher, Ernest Gaucher, Alexander Gaucher, and Alberta Gaucher; five sisters Stella Labbe, Irene Demeule, Blanche Guenette, Lumina Guenette, and Olive Gaucher; one son Henry Gaucher; and son-in-law Dan Desrosiers.
He is survived by Yvonne, his wife of 37 years; three daughters Pauline (Gerard) Chouinard of Girouxville, Doreen Desrosiers of Marie Reine, and Louise Gaucher of Falher; son Raymond (Lilian) Gaucher of Nampa; 15 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; one brother Hubert Gaucher of Peace River; and one sister Antoinette Bruneau of McLennan.
Funeral on Oct. 13
Funeral services for the late Paul Gaucher were held Oct. 13 from the Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Peace River with David N’Gondo and Deacon Reg Bouchard officiating.
Organist was Danelle Gaucher.
Natalie Gaucher was soloist.
Honourary pallbearers were all his grandchildren.
Interment followed at Marie Reine Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Chapel of Memories, Peace River.
