Robert (Bob) Gervais, 1967-2008
Robert (Bob) Gervais passed away in Falher on September 2, 2008, at the age of 41.
Bob was born on January 18, 1967, in Peace River, Alberta.
He grew up in the Town of Falher where he attended Routhier School prior to graduating in 1984 as class valedictorian.
Bob spent several years working for correctional institutes in Peace River and Bowden. He later went on to obtain a diploma in Forest Technologies.
With this knowledge and the help of his father, they started a business called Trail Tailor.
This career involved the building of trail-making equipment which led to the construction of hiking trails.
This gave Bob the opportunity to work in an environment he loved… the great outdoors.
Bob enjoyed all of the simple pleasures nature had to offer and liked spending time with his friends.
From snowmobiling to riding his Harley Davidson, listening to music, or just hanging out, Bob lived life by his motto “Work hard, play hard and die young.”
He will be sadly missed by all.
