Marcel Joseph Papineau, 1924 - 2000

Papineau, Marcel Joseph long time resident of Girouxville passed away on October 28, 2000 in McLennan at the age of 76.
Marcel Papineau was born on October 21, 1924 in Montreal. He arrived in Canada, in the district in 1972. Marcel Papineau was a farmer.
Therese (his sister), Irene Papineau, his mother and Davilda Papineau, his father predeceased Marcel. Marcel is survived by Alice his wife, Robert (Granby-Quebec), Leon (St-Eustache-Quebec), Irene (Nanaimo-BC), Gisele (Peace River-AB), Clement (Edmonton-AB), Viviane (Coombs-BC), his brothers Roger (Girouxville-AB), Albert (Girouxville-AB) and Gerard (Quesnel-BC).
Funeral services for Marcel were held on November 2, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. from the Girouxville church, with Reverend Rene Belanger officiating. Organist Rolande Johnson and Soloist Ernest Johnson. The pallbearers were Edward Grams, Edward Papineau, Remire Lefebvre, Remi Tardif, Donald Papineau at Gerald Papineau.
