Jeannette Nolette, 1950 - 2007

Jeannette Yvonne Nolette, late of Girouxville, Alberta, died suddenly of a heart attack in her home on March 28, 2007 at the tender age of 57 years. Jeannette was born in McLennan n February 27, 1950 to Emile and Noella Tanguay and she spent her younger years growing up in the Donnelly area. Upon her 16th birthday, she deeply fell in love with her soul mate, Andre Nolette. Andre became her strength, her tower to lean on, her companion, and best friend. Jeannette was very committed to being a great wife and loving mother as she spoiled each and every one of her children. She loved to be homemaker, cooking, entertaining, and keeping an immaculate home. All along our growing years, she was always supportive in our decisions and she might not have always agreed, but she always respected our decisions. Another one of Mom’s joys was her sever wonderful angels. She dedicated countless hours of nourishing and developing her wonderful grandchildren, all of which can only speak of her wonderful life. Jennette was very dedicated to the future of her community. She spent countless hours focusing on the preparation of marriage for young couples as she believed that marriage was one of the most sacred sacraments. She spent 15 years enjoying this task. This have been mentored by the life she and Dad had for the past 36 years. From this union, it has inspired her children to walk her walk. Family and friends will always remember the wonderful outings, family gatherings, and numerous games of cards. We want to share with you that she was a very kind, gentle, loving “lady” who put smiles on many peoples’ faces. A lady who use to enjoy life with family and friends to the fullest and we must remember her as such. We will always cherish those wonderful years and memories. Her smile, her laughter, her gentle touch, and her love will be embedded in our hearts forever. Jeannette is survived by her three children; Gerald Nolette of Girouxville, Lucien (Doreen) Nolette of Girouxville, and Corinne (Denis Roy) of Grande Prairie; seven grandchildren. She alse leaves behind her mother Noella Tanguay of Falher, sister Denise Malbeuf of Falher, brothers Roger Tanguay of Grande Prairie, Paul Tanguay of Falher, and Richard Tanguay of Comox, British Columbia. Jeannette was predeceased by her husband Andre, father Emile, brother Art and two sisters Helene and Lucille. Funeral services for the late Jeannette Nolette were held April 2 in Falher at Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church with Reverend Father Boniface N’Kulu Lupitshi O.S.B. officiating. Ginette Aubin was organist and soloist. Pallbearers were Gerald Nolette, Lucien Nolette, Denis Roy, Paul Tanguay, Rene Nolette, and Roland Nolette. Honourary pallbearers were grandchildren Kristina Nolette, Stephane Nolette, Christian Nolette, Matthew Nolette, Nathan Nolette, Martin Roy, and Lina Roy. Interment followed at Paroisse Sacré-Couer Cemetery in Donnelly. Chapel of Memories, in Peace River were in charge of the funeral arrangements.
