Yvon Lucien Savard, 1955-2009

Yvon Lucien Savard, resident of Jean Cote, passed away on Dec. 31, 2008 at the age of 53. Yvon was born on June 11, 1955 in McLennan. Yvon is predeceased by his parents Paul and Yolande Savard. He is survived by his wife Gisele, step-children Charmaine (Jacques) Berube of Falher, and Jason Demers of Edmonton. He is also survived by sisters Pauline (Mark) Morgan of Kitimat, BC; Lorraine (Angelo Forget) Savard of Girouxville; and brother Andre (Lisa) Savard of Dawson Creek, BC. Yvon, third child of Paul and Yolande Savard, passed away of a heart attack. As a long-time resident of Jean Cote, Yvon worked at the Rainbow Alfalfa Plant in Falher for over 20 years and retired on the family homestead. Memorial service for the late Yvon Savard was held at the Jean Cote Cemetery on May 9 at 2 p.m. Officiating was Deacon Reg Bouchard.
